I haven't been through one that could truly be considered "dangerous", but ... my first one seemed to be a chaotic mix of many different types! The amount of chaos from it all could very easily be considered harmful, I think.

As for the other question ... I don't mind the village itself, but I certainly don't wish to stay here, either.

Different types...?

How do you view this village?

Mm, that's right. Some people grew older or younger, some changed gender, some became entirely different people altogether ... it was very varied, that one!

[ ... ]

Ah ... a nicely furnished and decorated prison, maybe? It even comes with inmates willing to fight or intimidate others simply to prove something to themselves! [gigglegiggle]

I wonder if they were trying to see how much we could handle all at once?

Well, they keep things interesting here at least. I can't imagine people not getting bored of being trapped in a village.

Maybe! Or maybe they released several different ... "shifts" all at once to see which ones people were more affected by ...?

[A small giggle, then--]

Or perhaps they did it simply to keep things interesting! They certainly don't make it easy to tell.

Shifts that are effected by invisible factors in people? ...Does everyone get affected by these experiments, or do only a number of them occur with the residents here?

[You are a most peculiar person, you know that?]

Surprise no one has gone mad, considering the number of people who have been here for several years.

From what I can see, some people escape the effects of it completely! It all seems very randomized, but there could be a chance that there's more to it than that.

[That is putting it nicely. Very nicely. Regardless, she "hm"s to herself at that.]

It's possible someone may have, somewhere along the line. Maybe no one has realized it yet ...? [... There's a bit of a smile to her tone, as well -- as if she thinks something like that would be interesting.]

Anyone bothered to do a sort of statistic on that?

I wouldn't know. I've only been here for a short time after all. [...] Perhaps we've already lost a bit of our sanity from just being here.

I don't think so. It'd be a little pointless for us to, wouldn't it? It'd only be meaningless numbers in the end ...

[... Pff. A small giggle at that.] Ahh, perhaps! It would certainly explain a few things.

Yes, I'm sure being a little curious about numbers is going to disrupt our busy schedules here.

[That was just full of sarcasm there]

I think you might have.

Ah, I didn't mean to sound as if you shouldn't do it. I don't see much point in it, but if you do, go right ahead!

[Oh. Oh ho. Really now.]

I don't think you know me well enough to make a judgment call like that, ah ... "Renato".

[She keeps a light smile about her, though. Really, that statement of his was more amusing than insulting to her, especially because he barely knows her.]

I never said I would, but one could probably get bored enough here to try. A small chance of finding something interesting out of it all.

[...]

I suppose you find everything funny then, even when it's not? [Yes, her constant giggling, annoys puzzles him]

Perhaps ...

[She still doesn't think so, but hey, if someone came along, did it, and proved her wrong, she'd have no problem changing her tune about it.]

Not really! [... Yes, that's all she has to say about that.]

Surely, there must be a reason you laugh so much. Habit?

If it's really that important for you to know, then yes, you could say it's a habit of mine. [A habit that increases in frequency when she thinks the person she's talking to is being ridiculous, but she'll just keep that to herself.]

Not so much of importance and more something I've noticed.
