So, I love being on the Harpy List. Ironically, it is the most supportive and genuinely polite list I've ever been on in OWbN.
Today, a Harpy in Illinois asked if she could quote something I posted "future lessons of prestation". That statement made me happy for the rest of the day.
I can't remember when I last posted about the books I'm reading, but I've completed the following in the past few months:
Daniel Deronda, The Golden Age (by Kenneth Grahame), Mary Barton, The Red House Mystery, Silas Marner, The Machine Stops (fantastic short story by E.M. Forster), The Turn of the Screw, The Wind in the Willows, and Emma
I'm also a good way through the public domain works of H P Lovecraft, but I can't listen to them back to back.
I'm now working on The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Anne is not my favorite Bronte. So far the character I care the most about is a small black and white dog who is not in any way vital to the plot thus far.
