As nice as it was to see the headline CLINTON CRUSHES OBAMA this morning on CNN.com and in a few newspapers, the West Virginia outcome is very troubling to me. I think, at this point, Barack Obama has the nomination, when all is said and done (and counting every vote cast including Michigan and Florida) it appears Hillary will have the popular vote ( Read more... )

Yes, I totally agree with the baggage mention with Hillary. She has a lot of baggage and bad blood. She would have a hell of a time, if she was to get the nomination and not have someone bright and fresh such as Barack on the ticket with her. People are very quick to discount Hillary due to said baggage though. She has also proven, time and again, that she has a lot of strong supporters out there. People who genuinely believe she would be good for this country.

I just firmly believe that at this point with so many people so invested in each of these candidates, it will be a disservice to not run them on the same ticket. I would feel this way even if Hillary pulled out the miracle of miracles and somehow won the nomination. Millions of people are behind Barack, millions of people are behind Hillary ... uniting all those people under one ticket is a sure-fire way to take down John McCain. It will be tough either way, as you said, but we need them both. They both have considerable strengths and weaknesses, luckily not the same ones. Together they can make a great team.
