Lir had decided to take a shower. For once it without Tadashi's looks of 'please' or 'for me'. She hated those looks because she gave into them every single time. She'd noticed his pacing, the way he'd rub the back of his neck and the quietness that was happening. This meant one thing. Tadashi was worrying over something. She knew this actually really well because he'd always done it when she went out somewhere with someone or wound up so strung out he even thought she was going to die.

"Stop pacing Tadpole, you're going to make yourself sick." She tightened the towel around her very tiny form and sat down on the edge of the bed. Part of her actually wondered if he was actually worried about doing something with her but then she thought that was utterly silly.

"I don't get sick," he said quietly. He turned to look at her and leaned against the wall.

"You wanted me to tell you the truth about who and what I am... and I'm trying to find the words to explain. The thing is, I've never been scared for myself before. Never. But I'm scared right now because I don't know how you'll react knowing the truth and the one thing I have never wanted to lose is you."

That was probably the most he'd ever said about himself in awhile.

She watched him carefully, perking a small brow at him before leaning back on her hands.

"Maybe there's actually no right way to say it except to just spit it out. Sometimes that's the best way to do things. Please, if I were that easy to loose, I would have lost you a long time ago."

"I'm an angel."

Well, she did say to spit it out...

"Well, obviously. You never do anything wrong." She didn't realize he meant..angel...angel. "You're the good boy out of all of us."

[fallen_visigoth]

He shook his head. "That's not what I mean, Lir. I mean, I'm an actual angel, from up there." He pointed up. "That's why I'm always there when you need me... why I can 'find' things we need. I'm an angel."

"Somehow I feel like I'm stuck in that episode of Roswell where Max tells Liz where he's from and he points up...." She stared at him a minute. "If you're an angel, where's your wings? Cause I've never seen them. What are they? Like invisible or something?"

He sighed, then frowned a little sadly. "I... I'm Fallen, Lir. They took my wings."

[kommrettemich]

"Took...your wings? How can they just take your wings? That makes no sense." She wrinkled her nose slightly.

"They're the ones in charge and they can do anything they want. It's frowned upon for an angel to question Him and I did."

[kommrettemich]

"You...questioned him?" She couldn't help but snicker "Over what?"

Tadashi sighed. "Over the humans and they way some of them were forced to live down here."

"Ahhh. So you went against the grain of what you're supposed to do."

He nodded, leaning against the wall.

"Yes, I did. I wasn't supposed to."

"You expected me to like freak out didn't you?"

He nodded slowly. "Most people would have a freak out if they found out their boyfriend was actually a fallen angel."
