Names removed to protect the privacy of my friends and thier friends. :)
I did these last summer with bears, worms, and dinosaurs... rum and vodka versions.. You need to sample on a regular basis... Absorption rates vary, as does expansion and tenderness/squishyness... Like pasta that's a bit tough in the middle and could use a few more minutes... each person's perspective..

Alcohol choices usually that would pair nicely with a fruity drink...

I'll be sure to start checking them all starting on day 3. Thanks for the tip!

Gin rules....hands down but you have to lay them out to dry a little or they do go to mush.

The freezer will totally resolidify them... And there will be lots of very potent gummi-juices left over for samplings

So, if I get this straight. When they're just right (not chewy in the center), take them out of what liquid is remaining, pat them dry, place them in the freezer for later consumption?
How long will they last at room temperature?

when they are 'just right' - remove, and store...(fridge in ziploc) .or eat.. If they get tooo squishy, some time in a freezer will firm them up but if left to long, may become chewy again, but alcohol infused chewy... Best to just eat
