Monday
Monday... what can I say about Monday aside from WOW!
Let's start with what was supposed to happen. The plan was, I get up, one of the parents give me a lift into work, I work for a little while then get the train into Middlesbrough where I go to the cinema and spend all day in front of various large screens telling me lots of different stories before heading home to bed. Now to some of you that sounds like a bad day out, boring and lonely. To me it sounded like pure awesome in a cinema shaped box!
I decided it would be best for Dad to give me a lift, he seems like he enjoys it more. So I got to work where I did the twenty minutes work I was supposed to do, but phoning for a lift before he'd even made it home would be a bit nasty so I hung around. Listened to the radio with my feet up, was great! When I eventually got a lift I headed back to dad's where I helped out in the garden and with various other projects around the house. Was good, we then sat and watched Five Children and It (If someone knows how it ends, please tell me, I saw up until they wished the dad home for the day). I got a text saying the darling Sophie was in Stockton and would I like to meet up, I chose yes. We sat by the river Tees just chatting and hanging out kissing and such. Was really nice to just get to know her. She decided she really wanted coffee and it being a bank holiday, everything was closed. We ended up in Burger King talking about movies, at which point I discovered there was a movie she loved but hadn't seen in a long time, so I offered to let her come back to mine and watch it. We put it on with the best intentions but as tends to happen with me, we got distracted... It was fun but I am very sore and somewhat in pain right now. I walked her home and then came back here, ended up home and watching Skins with Luke and Dave... That is a messed up show... I went to bed quite early but couldn't sleep a wink. I had a good day! Much better than planned but it means I have much cinema to catch up on...
On the other side of things, I have contacted cottage guy about Whitby in October and all I need to do now is pay!!! I'm all set for two weekends of uber-fun!
