Richard Kruspe tutorial

Yay, the rainy, crappy weather seems to make me pretty productive! And so I bring you yet another tutorial, featuring my very favorite topic...Richard Kruspe (Rammstein's lead guitarist and hottest guy...ever).

Going from
this
to this

Made in PSP8. Only one step may not be avaliable in other versions/programs.

1. As always, start by preparing your base (Sharpening, enhancing).

2. Duplicate the base. Set the copy to soft light, 40%

3. Add this texture (By my favorite, colorfilter) and set to burn, 90%

4. Add this gradient (by me) and set it to soft light, 50%

5. Add this light texture (also by colorfilter), rotate it left 180 degrees and set to screen, 70%

6. Add this texture (by wonderland__) and set to soft light, 100% (for my icon, it's mirrored)

8. Ok, this is the step which I'm not sure can be done in other programs/versions of PSP. As a PSP default gradient, there is one called "fading white". Select that one. (Or if it isn't avaliable and you know how to, create a gradient that fades from white to transparent)

9. Use this brush, by iiokua and set to "Luminance (legacy)" (or just try luminance if this isn't avaliable), 70%

It should look something like this before setting to luminance...

10. I added a white 1 pixel border.

And you're done :) From here, you can add any other touches you'd like.
