My children have names. The noisy one is Boku, because it's a word it should learn; and the naughty one is Kimi, because I'm really that unoriginal. (Nee-san says that if I treat them like children, they'll learn to shape up. Don't ask.)
That isn't the highlight of my morning though. Nee-san's agreed to watch Kimi till the weekend, while I replace two pillows, a chair, and a bookshelf. Hopefully, she'll beat some sense into the pup. I'm not worried, really. And I haven't grown attached. Definitely not.
Which is why I am happily studying for an oral tomorrow. Totally not distracted.

What if she traumatizes it with her cooking? D: Oh gawd, what if he poisons it on purpose? Okay, not stressing. Not stressing. It's just a couple of days. Think of the your favorite pillowcase, Akaya. Think of the bookshelf you put up yourself.
Is this really what having kids is like?
[ooc: Boku (for the parrot) = a polite way of saying 'I'. Kimi (for the puppy) = a polite way of saying 'you'. And um, the 'he' Akaya's referring to is his soon-to-be brother-in-law. <3]
