Awww...it's too bad you missed the days of my Gravi layout. I had that darn thing for 3 years...and then everyone started stealing it, so I had to switch to random circus lesbians ^_^.;;
....mmm, you wanna just borrow it from me before you buy it? I know opinions differ from people to people, but almost everyone I've talked with has said that the manga is just awful after the first ike 5 or 6 volumes, and I would have to agree, having bought the whole thing and then the Japanese editions of Gravi 2 in the hopes it would get better...you might like it all, in which case, yay, buy away! But if you want to check it out first and see if you just want to go up to a certain volume or so, let me know, I can lend it out to you!
It goes downhill?? *cries* That sucks. I like the storyline so far. I've seen the first thirteen episodes in Japanese with subtitles. I was hoping the manga would clear things up for me. LOL
That's pretty much the whole anime right there, plus episode 14 and the two crappily animated and nonsensical but full of fandom love OVAs...but yeah, the manga goes waaaaay downhill. At first it's great having all of the details about the origins of Bad Luck and more details about characters' lives, but then it kind of degenerates into overwhelming amounts of crack (the bad kind), angst that has no explanation whatsoever, random trips overseas and self-inserts of the authoress a la Mary Sue fics, and random babies. Plus, by the end of it, Shuichi looks like he's 6. *Shudder* No, once you get past the plot in the anime, the manga just....goes ew. And makes no sense. At all.
*squees* I've only read the first three volumes. DJ bought the first six, but they're back in Indiana, so I'll have to wait and read them. I'm filling in with the anime for now. ^_^
I've actually read the first three volumes about ten times each. It just doesn't get old! *dances around*
Goodness no, it is NOT. But tragically, that doesn't make it any better....le sigh...once again, all the really good stuff happens in the first 5 or 6 volumes CHIBIBUTTSECKSYAY!
...ahem. Although if you really want to make your eyes fall out, I have all of the GRavi REMIX doujinshis, the one the artist did herself...I still think I'm too young for those!

I guess I just have to hope that Fruits Basket comes through for me. ^_^
I'll probably read Gravi anyway, though. If nothing else, I'll read it for the prettiness that is Yuki Eiri. And Shuichi. And Ryuichi. LOL

Momiji: "Yuki looks like a madchen!"
*adores Momiji-kun*
Oh. And I heard from one of my friends that Gravi the manga isn't quite as *cough* PG as Gravi the anime. ^_^ lol

Yay CHIBIBUTTSECKS! ^_^ It makes me sad that it goes downhill, but tis okie. I still love Yuki and Shuichi! And Ryuichi, of course.
Remix? I didn't know there was a remix. *ponders*
And I downloaded the two OAV's earlier. I'm almost scared to watch them. ^_^
I'll definitely have to read Gravi, though. You guys have all aroused my curiousity. Morbid curiousity, but still.
