[Well, that was a surprise.]

Thanks, Riku.

Do you need anything to wear? My, uh...my clothes fit...you, but I don't think anything you have will fit...me.

[talking about this is really awkward]

No, my usual clothes won't fit anymore. I'll just wrap up in a blanket for now.

[Tries not to smile too much at this.] What, last I checked my dress fit just fine, or would you rather not try it?

Since I'm coming down there I can bring a few of my things with me.

... [chokes slightly] No, I...um...I'll be fine.

Thanks, Riku. I appreciate it.

[Laughs a little, Aerith can't help it.] Alright, you should be fine with a belt and some of your regular clothes until we can get to the shopping level.

You're welcome.

[just...tries not to fidget] What do we need to go shopping f--...oh, right.

The last time I was a girl we didn't have the luxury of the shopping level, unless you were willing to risk crawling through the ruined ship.

Something that will fit better.

Hmm, I think I arrived after that. I don't seem to remember anyone being the wrong gender when I met them.

That was a very...difficult couple of days, especially because some of us believed we had always been that gender. I'm grateful that didn't happen this time around.

I'll bet! It sounds like it would've given everyone a hard time.

There were a few incidents, but thankfully no one was injured or traumatized. ...that I know of.

I do wonder how this is happening without any input from the captain, though.

I think being in someone else's body has the potential to be more traumatizing. You learn things about other people that you usually wouldn't want to.

Well, I suppose we'll find out sooner or later, right?

Hopefully we'll all be adults here and not do or say anything rash. [...though he knows some people can't be trusted at all]

I don't know. It's just a hunch, but somehow this seems different to me.

Some might be better off than others in that regard.

It does to me too. I'm not sure what to think of it. I'm considering trying to speak with the captain.

I'm not sure that's a good idea. What if he doesn't know about it? Will telling him cause it to stop, or get worse.

Maybe the ship's becoming unstable...in which case we need to get off it as soon as possible.

I'm not sure, but you'd think it might be best to tell him either way. We won't know unless we try, and do you remember the last time he found out the hard way about things going wrong with the ship?

I agree, which is one of the reasons I was thinking of speaking with him soon. It's a risk I'm afraid we're going to have to take at some point.

Mm, that's true. It has the potential to go very wrong, but I will admit that we don't have a lot of options at this point.

I'd suggest picking someone who hasn't antagonized him before. Orion was on the right track with that, I think.
