Yay...My laptop broke...woop-di-freakin-doo
Here's how it happened: My mom has a really bad way of always jinxing me of shit, (example: Mom-"I'm really proud of you, you have had your watch for a long time now without losing it." Me-losing the watch the next day) (example 2: Mom:"Your face looks so clear right now, not really broken out or anything." Me-face breaking out immediately after)So last Wednesday night, she says something at the dinner table about how if I'm going to lay in bed with my computer like I do at home at campus, then I need to be careful not to DROP IT ON THE FLOOR. So what fucking happens that night? I set it down on my bed like I always do, and I go into my bathroom. THUMP! I look into my room, there's no laptop on the bed. I think to myself that no...its there...I'm just seeing things. Nope...I peer over the head of my bed, and there is my laptop, on the floor...It wont even start up its so screwed up. Because....it fell right on the fucking corner of it. Damn.
So my mom takes it the next day to the Apple store in the Galleria and they have sent it off to the company to fix it. I have been praying for mercy from the company...because it has a warrenty and hopeful it will be fixed under that. But if they decide that no, it was my fault, then we'll have to pay for it which will be a MINUMUM of $660. Could even go up to $1350 the guy said. And the comp itself cost $1399.
So I've been uber depressed over it and feeling majorly deprived. :(
