When stress is crazy, and you just need to be alone... April curls up on her bed and draws. She's having an off-day, apparently, because most of her efforts have been pretty crappy, but it happens from time to time. Granted, not quite this badly, but she's willing to believe extra stress could do that.
The door's unlocked.

No, no, no. This can't be happening. This is like a nightmare, it can't be happening.

"Please," she whispers. "Please, baby, stop this. What's going on?"

He doesn't turn around. He just walks out, leaving her behind and alone and broken.
She stands there for a long time, just sobbing, unable to move. Then... well, she needs someone. She needs to be held, she needs to be told that she's not worthless, like she feels just now.
She heads up to another room and bangs on the door. "JD!" she calls, her voice wobbling, her sobs catching in her throat. "JD, please open the door!"

"What do you want?" He glares at her, hard.

"I... Can I come in?" she sniffles. He's just having a bad day. That's all it is. "I don't... I don't want to be alone right now."

The door stays between the two of them.
It's not open very much at all.
"You were more than happy to leave me alone. I'm perfectly happy to do the same."

Please, let him change his mind. Please, please, she can't be alone right now. She can't.

He opens the door as she backs away, completely emotionless, except for the bitterness in his voice.

"If... if you want me out of your life..." she starts, and can't finish the thought. It's taking all her willpower to not just crumple to the floor.
