(no subject)
AN UPDATE OF MONSTROUS PROPORTIONS!!!
This Summer I want to do these things
* Actually have the random LJ nerd party, but I first need to learn how to use the .gif making program -->Not gonna happen 'cos it turns out I don't have ImageReady (I was SURE I did!) plus no scanner and I can't think of what else to put in my awesome background collage. Plus, Natalie is gone now so her nerdiness would not be there for the fun times
* Get a whole bunch of people to go to the open air cinema at Black Barn and see "Run Lola, Run" and sit there and drink and eat cheese or something. It would be awesome fun -->It was tonight. Me Natalie and Lee watched "Supersize Me" at Lee's house. I'm never eating McDonalds "traditional foods" again!
* Get a bundle of people to go to "The Phantom of the Opera" movie with me, dressed as though we were going to the actual production ('cos it is LW's actual production, just on film -->No-one I know is into that sort of fun stuff, so I am going by myself in normal clothes this weekend.
* Have at least one massive awesome beach day with a bundle of people, 'cos they are so much fun. Weather is being stupid though. --> could still happen but I doubt it because of the same thing as in the next point...
* Go on the wine weekend (y'know with the buses) with some mates. -->I will have just had surgery at the start of that week, so I don't think I will be wandering around wineries. Plus I don't know anyone here who drinks wine
This Christmas my ideal gifts would be
*The most recent Strung Out CD (I've fallen in lust with it)-->Can still copy it off Lee
*To see Halie and Fi and Abi and Horn and Lucy and Dave and both Nickis and Kenzo and Smithy and Craig and Leah and Erin and Jeremy and Estelle and so many more people from CH that I can't just pull out of the air, and also other people from CHCH...I miss them all -->didn't happen, but I did hear from a couple people. Abi is not coming back to chch this year. I am sad :( She's such a beautiful person and is such a good friend. She was one of the first friends I made in chch. I love her.
*For Lee to surprise me and say "Hey, I'm actually gonna come and visit you this year" or even better "Hey, I've decided to shift my degree to CHCH" -->Hasn't happened. He is definitely re-enrolling at EIT. <3*BIRTHDAY WISH* For lots of people to get in together and get him to christchurch for my awesome party on March 12th (it will happen y'hear!) That is all I want all year. That would make my year, nothing else could be bad in the whole of 2k5
*My family to be happier and less angry, especially my sister who is so angry constantly -->REEEEEEEEALLY didn't happen. You should have seen my mum go spazzo at me and my sister pack a tanty straight after christmas dinner...*sigh*
*To not be hugely fat anymore (I actually seriously am, trust me, I'm technically classed as ObeseI)-->Hooray! this one is working. I have lost about 6 or 7 Kgs and am almost back to the weight I was before the bung knee (I gained 10 kg in about 4 or 5 weeks!) Not sure about whether I am still classed as Obese or just overweight now...I would have to check my BMI
*To not feel apathetic as per the past while-->also, better!
*For my knee to be magically all better and for money to rain from the sky and into my bank acct. -->I had to get rid of it 'cos it happened like this...I got my Bond back from CH and so have gained approximately 175 dollars from them, huzzah! So it didn't really rain, and not from the sky. It came to my mailbox too, not my bank acct. Also, Surgery on the 31st!!!! yay! surgery! (how often do you hear that?) My knee will be better, but not by magic. By the 'wonders' of modern medicine.
