So many have been killed, and so many have suffered over the past few days due to this horrendous event. Whether or not the deaths are permanent is irrelevant, there was still no point to kidnapping those involved and causing them to fight like they were personal toys

Who are we to argue with a higher power?

A higher power shouldn't be treating the community members like pawns.

I'd argue the fact that all higher powers do so anyway but I'm not a religious sort.

If a higher power created everything then they created pestilence, war, revenge, greed. Then turned their backs. I am not a religious sort but that doesn't that stir the thought that they might be sadistic in your mind, perchance?

They also created free will, and that is the important part.
