i wish it was summer.
when it's summer i get to take emma outside and play, and i get to go to the beach, and i get to eat ice cream. i get to go to toronto and warped tour, and see my friends. i can go for a walk around the block at 3am, because it's warm. i can camp out in the backyard with kelli, and i can take the bus into the city and walk around on the waterfront all day. my brother will be home this summer, and we don't get along much, but he drives me places, and he will be 19 in august - which means I'm taking him downtown. i can go to reflections and spend the night walking around after it's closed, rather than needing someone to pick us up. i can wear tanktops and skirts and sneakers, my favorite things to wear. i can pick fresh veggies out of the garden when i get hungry, and live off of cherry tomatoes and snow peas.
