So, i've been watching Common Law some more and I finally can say I do enjoy watching it. It's nowhere on my top 5, but it does have it's charms. Thankfully the overwhelming use of, what I call, "SlashFanservice" has died down. Sure, they still have that whole "LOL these two act gay, but they're totally not!" thing going on (how can you avoid this with a plot like "Two Partners go to Couple's Counciling every episode"), but it's definitely more reserved and not shoved in your face like the pilot episode was. I love both Wes and Travis and how totally childish they are more then half of the time. And I love their Bromance, even if the show insists I should believe it's something more (I'll only believe it if you actually do it, USA Network).
One of my favorite scenes so far was Wes standing up for Travis to Morgan. That scene was absolutely wonderful.
"You don't know him, what he's done or what he's capable of doing. So, you should just shut the hell up."
And are we going to get a flashback episode to the case where Wes and Travis (not yet partners) teamed up to take down a Serial Killer? There was so much backstory in this episode, it made me intrigued.
