A new member of the family
I just want to update with the happy news that I have a goldfish. His name is Austin Flutie Martinez. I'm hoping that he's going to eat soon, cause he keeps avoiding the flakes. At least he's moving around more than this afternoon, though. He spent the whole time in a little corner and I thought he was going to die, but Michellie said that goldfish are just very sensitive. He is just a baby, after all.
In case you are wondering about the name, Austin was Varun's idea. I don't remember if he said anything about Flutie, but yeah, I liked it cause Varun calls flautas fluties and it just sounds funny aaaaaaand it's random.
Anyway, the name has indicated that Austin Flutie is now officially Varun's and my love fish. As in love child but a fish instead cause I'm too young and poor and not married for children. Not that I would HAVE to be married to have children cause sometimes shit happens and like, you can't find a husband but you really want kids, or wooops the condom broke and the guy isn't about to marry you and you can't bear to actually HAVE the abortion you said you would have or...you get the idea.
Anyway, he's doing fine, swimming around and being cute. I'll take a picture and someday develop the film. This camera also has pictures of snowy days here and fall days and random pics and some of Varun and I aaand now Austin. Why did I just type all that bullshit? I'm gonna make enchiladas now.
