I will feel a glow just thinking of you... and the way you look tonight...
So I had this huge long entry about my awesome weekend. But you know, LJ is freakin' stupid and it didn't post. So yeah. Here's the condensed version.
Thursday~ Went to Central for the night. Steph and I got ready to go to the Pub, Ben came over, we swung by Tim and Brian's apartment, had some drinks, waved bye to the bar-goers, got a ride to the Pub somehow, danced a lot, Ben and Brian came, they bought us beers, then the lucky bastards got a ride back to Brian's, Steph and I walked in the freezing cold, I don't remember the walk though, I called Chris and made him mad but again, don't remember, finally got back to Brian's, Steph re-affirmed how demanding she is/how agreeable I am when we’re drunk, but thanks to it I slept in a very comfortable bed. =)
Friday~ Got back to EL in time for my class but didn’t go. Had lunch with Leeners, packed my shit up, got Victor and headed back to SCS, for my cousin’s wedding for those who didn’t know. The rehearsal and dinner was tonight so I got ready for that, then we headed to D-town for the festivities. The wedding ceremony was at Old St. Mary’s in downtown. That is the most beautiful church I’ve ever seen. I got to catch up a bit with my cousin Karl, who’s lived in Colorado for quite a few years now. So that was done, then we had dinner at Pizza Papalis. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Again, caught up with the cousins. Relatively low-key night for the family, but my lovely aunts did breakout in dance, with no music - a great preview for the night after.
Saturday~ Well, the wedding was so much fun, words can’t even describe. I took Frank along with me, and we had such a great time, even though we felt a bit out of place. I think we played it off perfect though. Oh and guys, if I ever ask you to come with me to anything, make sure I tell you all the details. I failed to mention the correct time that we’d be getting Frank and that he needs a coat to get into the DAC. Yeah, so I’m like the worst date ever. Haha. Anyway, we ate, drank and danced the night away. I’m not sure what time we left. I know it was late, but it went by so incredibly fast. The newlyweds were absolutely beaming the entire night. It was so great to see them so happy. I love them both so much and I’m so happy for them. Got home and the night was complete. <3
Sunday~ Had lunch at my cousins house, got a new phone then came back up here. Whee.
And that is it for now. I still hate LJ. Lose this and I’m going to cry.
