For anyone who isn't aware, my dad died the 15th of June after a painful fight with lung cancer that spread to his brain. We were with him until his very last breath because he had decided he wanted to die at home. I had been flying back home to Kansas City pretty regularly to help out and to be with the rest of the family, so thankfully I got to spend a little more time with him than usual over the past year.
