HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL

So yea holiday 1 (ie christmas) has come and passed. It was kind of an odd one because for the first time my brother wasn't here. By the time I was finally dragged home none of the decorations were up. Me and big red put most of them up over the course of like 2 days but I remember decorating my old house was like a 3 week production leading up to christmas. I also really realized how much/little of a child I am now. My neice and nephew are the first kids since me so of course I and the rest of the family dote on them like crazy, it is just weird because I remember for so many years being that kid. As my crazy aunt mary alice said, it is always good to be a crazy aunt and is quite glad I have turned into one. Also I got all my presents as soon as i got home instead of on christmas in order to make things less cluttered when the kids showed up. I'm not pissed about any of this it just really seemed like a changing of the gaurd kind of thing. I guess in some ways I have grown up, although I am indeed the grown up that chases the kids around all night instead of having actual conversations or eating, the babies are more fun anyway. Well I hope all others had a good holiday and hope to see y'all soon.
