Dearest princess,
I fear I lack the words to properly express the multitude of thoughts and tumult of emotion within which I find myself forced to live. I know it is greatly presumptuous to hope that I may ask your forgiveness, when I know I have been denied the charity of your voice. I will not be surprised if this letter is returned to me unopened when you note the sender, or that it is never heard from again as it meets some other demise.
However, if you have deemed it worthy of your eyes grace this far I will now say that I am truly sorry for any wrong I have done that has ever caused you upset. Truly, every sin ever committed by my family that has caused even the slightest grief to you, I now take upon myself.
I am prepared for any retribution you see fit, and until such time as you care to bring it down upon my iniquitous head I shall honor your wishes and cease any attempts to speak with you. I hope that his most belated offering will ease some of the discomfort my very presence offends you with.
From the bottom of my heart, as horridly corrupt and deficient as it is, I am sorry.
Your humble servant,
Euram Ba
