Who: Euram and Sasarai
What: Sasarai wants answers to what exactly he broke up
in this post.Where: Sasarai's office.
Sasarai: *Sitting at his desk, drinking tea*
Euram: ::sulkily knocks on the office door, not sure why he decided to actually show::
Sasarai: *puts down the tea* Come in.
Euram: ::attempts to not look like he’s sulking as he enters:: Ah, Bishop. How are you today? I was just passing your door on the way back from some terribly important errands, when I recalled that you had asked to speak with me. I did recall correct did I not?
Sasarai: Indeed you did. I would like to see what was going on between you and Miss Alenia. The conflict between you seemed fairly intense.
Euram: Between us? There is nothing between us. It is her. All her! Invariably only her! Therefore any punishment must be directed in her direction only.
Sasarai: Hmm. *Gestures to an empty chair* Have a seat.
Euram: … Why? Did I not just say I did nothing wrong? Are you implying that I would lie?!
Sasarai: Not at all. I was merely going to offer you some tea.
Euram: Oh… Hahaha! Of course what a delightful prospect. I should love some. ::sits down, trying to not look sheepish::
Sasarai: *pours some tea for Euram* When it comes to dealing with such things, it is best to trace the conflict to its source. My first question is why Miss Alenia wishes you ill. People do not harbor grudges for no reason, even if they take it out on the wrong people.
Euram: I just told you the source. She is vile and brutal, those types are unable to put reason behind their actions. ::pouty::
Sasarai: *Takes a sip of tea* People are not just vile and brutal. It is a choice they make. The question is why she chose to be vile and brutal.
Euram: Why are you not asking her these questions?! Am I expected to know the inner thoughts of everyone or merely take the blame for the actions?
Sasarai: Let me put it this way. Are you willing to, at the very least, change your view of her, and see her as a human being, regardless of the insults she hurls at you?
Euram: Most certainly not! I knew you were on her side the entire time. ::Stands:: Oh it was so obvious with how she withdrew so quickly after you intervened. Oh dear, this is a trap isn’t it? Well Ha! I have discovered it, which means there is no way for it to succeed!
Sasarai: Alenia made no effort to contact me. It is more likely that she knows my position as Bishop-General of the Regional Army of the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. Do you know of it?
Euram: Of course I am aware of Harmonia. I am not some simpleton! ::doesn’t say that he doesn’t know MUCH about harmonia:: Why are you bringing this up now?
Sasarai: When I said that I would hate to have to resort to heavy-handed methods to end this dispute, I was being literal. *Shows the True Earth Rune* Now, sit down, and have some tea. We'll try a different approach.
Euram: ::eyes widen at the true rune, and sits down silently, positive he’s being threatened::
Sasarai: Now, *takes another sip of tea* tell me about yourself.
Euram: T..Tell you..wh..what do you want to know? ::shrinks into himself as far back into the seat as he can get::
Sasarai: Calm down. *Puts his teacup down* Let's start with something simple. Your name, title, country of origin, occupation, things of that nature.
Euram: ::was just in his mind threatened with a true rune, he’s not calming down. But he will glare at being questioned:: You do not even know such basic things, and still take her word…. Fine. I am Euram Barows, current…head.. of the house of Barows and heir to senate seat and faction of the Falenan Senate. So you had best be careful with how you speak to me!
Sasarai: Good. I am Sasarai, Bishop-General of the Regional Army of the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia, the largest army in the world, and Bearer of the True Earth Rune. With introductions out of the way, can you tell me when you first met Miss Alenia?
Euram: At the Sun Palace in Falena of course. Being from so prominent a family and potential suitor to our beloved princess I was of course invited to all of the most auspicious occasions. At such the…::choosing word cafeful:: woman…in question was a guard. Even after she betrayed our Queen…oh I bet she left that part out while she was coercing you into this trial! Haha!
Sasarai: I assure you she will be getting the same treatment as you, should she misbehave. *Refills his cup of tea* Also, that doesn't tell me what you were doing when you first met.
Euram: Should she? SHOULD SHE? Are you blind and deaf?!
Sasarai: *Takes a sip of tea* No, but I wasn't there, so you'll have to describe it for me.
Euram: I was merely minding my own business…I had not even spoken to her!...and she goads on a beast to kill me! I confronted her and she drew a sword! Why am I being put on trial when everything is entirely her fault?! I did nothing! Nothing! ::tearing up from the tantrum::
Sasarai: Good, we're getting somewhere. Now, a more difficult question. What sort of insults does she say to you? Please be specific.
Euram: I just told you, she threatened to kill me and was encouraging others to do the same! How often must I repeat myself?!
Sasarai: Has she ever said why?
Euram: Because she is a harlot for the Godwin family of course! Any other excuse she might give would be an outright lie.
Sasarai: Ah, politics. That's why. *Leans back in his chair, and takes another sip of tea* Have you ever entered military service?
Euram: What does that have to do with…your questions are quite erratic. ::composes himself slightly and looks to the side:: I have been in charge of an army before, butthathasabsolutelynothingtodowithanything!
Sasarai: You'd be surprised how things are interconnected, so stay with me. Have you lead from the front?
Euram: ::looks horrified::…What have you been told?! This is the true reason for this interrogation isn’t it? Of course you merely used Alenia as a rouse. Well I have nothing to say! Nothing at all! It wasn’t my fault! They deserved it!
Sasarai: Enlighten me, then, to what you believe is the true purpose of these questions.
Euram: As if you don’t know…Why are you doing this?! That’s it. I’m done. There will be no more questions! None! ::crosses his arms trying to look in charge::
Sasarai: I already have what I need. I've seen something like this before. This little vendetta of yours is fueled by mutual hatred. Where Miss Alenia's hatred comes from, I will find out later, but yours stems from an unwillingness to take responsibility. You are swift to blame others for anything, especially your own failings.
Euram: Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! You don’t understand anything. Good day! ::gets up and storms out::
Sasarai: *Lets Euram go* I will need to get in touch with Her Majesty before I speak with Miss Alenia. He's going to himself killed at this rate if I don't do something.
