[After browsing the journals today, Frey’s been stuck by a bit of curiosity in regards to today and the festivities. Really, the amount of people who know of this holiday is astounding, yet Luceti is filled with people from different worlds.

In my world, Valentine's Day is a fairly old holiday; a few hundred years as it's celebrated now. It began as a holiday named for Christian saints over a thousand years ago, but has come to be a day to celebrate romantic affection. In Japan, where I'm from, girls give chocolate to the boys they like.

I've heard something similar from my roommate..... so they give chocolate to show affection?

That's right. It's like a declaration of love. Especially if the chocolate is hand-made instead of store-bought.

Of course. Just like a homecooked meal is always better then something store bought, because it was made with care.
