News on why I've been incommunicado
Sarmi and I are moving into a new apartment and I got a new job, so my posting went to shit. Thanks to all the folks that wished me happy birthday, and a happy birthday to Ana from me.
I have to get up earlier than for my previous job, because I take Sarmi to work, then come home and eat breakfast before heading off to work myself. No more sleeping in for Falc. :(
My book is still coming along; I was in the middle of re-editing when the move began and the job was a surprise as well, considering it was from a place that I interviewed with five weeks ago and never heard back from. I found out that the lady that interviewed me was waiting on her boss' okay of my application, and he was under the impression he'd given it, and so there was miscommunication for three weeks. Anyway, I'm there now and loving it.
The pay is reasonable, but the lax attitude makes it more than worthwhile to me.
