Coronets part two.- or me + Gold Leaf = Mess
I originally finished the Baronial Field Coronets I was making back in May, but the more I looked at them the more I decided I was unhappy with them; they just didn't look quite right. So, after talking it over with the smarter person in the house, I decided to redo the gold knotwork on the coronets with gold leaf.... Results are below
The Gold Leaf, which seems to require something I am not really capable of, namely patience, actually came out pretty well. Unfortunately the lighting is not real good here or you'd be able to see that the green has also been redone and has come out pretty well...
