so i started work yesterday, it was so good. i really like the people so far and the job itself doesn't seem too hard. the hardest thing by far is going to be the drinks, no doubt. i started at like 9:30 and did all the prep (mopping, cleaning tables etc.)for work and stuff and then we opened at 11. the second we flipped the sign, it seems like, people started to come in. even though it is slow right now due to lack of duke students it is a pretty popular place. you would think that when customers are not there, there is nothing to do and i could study the menu so i could know how much things cost and the ingredients etc. but no there is always shit to do. it's good though i am going to really enjoy it.
today all my family comes from louisville and i am far from excited about it. however my cousin is also getting in so he can make it kinda happy. also my sister. i am happy to see her. i guess it is just my grandmother and my dad that i am not looking foward to seeing. whatever. i guess it is good that we are petsitting in enough places that we can put them far enough away from us that i won't have to deal with them much. also i am working and babysitting much of the time so i can be sain. anyway i gotta go clean for my guests.
