My dad got married on Friday! =)
It was a beautiful ceremony that took place in front of this small, quiet lake. The weather was perfect, and just as Julie came down in her beautiful white dress, it started to rain. But, troopers we are, we stuck it out. Truth be told, it was actually pretty in the rain. It was a calm, warm summer rain and made the whole scene very romantic. There was even a duck couple that chilled nearby on the lake!
The reception was tons of fun. Everyone was having a fun time and there was tons of room for dancing and running over to say hi to other tables. Alexandra and Andrew made this funny quiz for everyone on how well they know my dad and Julie, and one of the questions asked how many kids they had collectively and if they could name us in order. Not too many people could correctly guess all 5 kids, heh.
Their first dance was so adorable. It was to Michael Buble's "Everything" and I got some great pictures of it. Matthew danced with me several times to later songs! Then, I took a couple shots with Julie and all her college friends, so it was good that Stephen and Alexandra were driving the family around, heh. Overall, a perfect day.
My dad and Julie are now in St. Lucia enjoying their honeymoon.
As for me, this summer term is going to end soon, thank god. Taking a microbiology class in eight weeks was not the smartest idea, but I'm aiming for a B in the class. Then, it's on to Summer II!
