7-11 Math Test
So, yeah. I am still hunting for a job, and I figure that since the 7-11 right by my house is hiring, I'll give it a shot. So I'm filling out the application, and on the back is a "Basic Math Test." And I mean REALLY basic. Let's take a look at a few of the questions:
A customer purchased items in your store totaling $12.64. They hand you three $5.00 bills. How much change would you owe them?
This one cracks me upYou owe a customer $1.38 in change. What bills and coins would you give back to the customer as correct change?
Your store sells 6 hot dogs per day. How many hot dogs would you order for a two weeks supply?
The sad truth is that there really are people out there who can't answer these questions. There are American adults who could not use that much brain power to figure out the answer. They all need to be shot or something, this makes my brain cry.
