ECCs 2006: What a Meet! This year we had double the teams and quadruple the comeptitiveness.
Great job to everyone who swam and to a GIANT Thank You those who worked for hours on end to make this run smoothly ;-)

After 17 swims in 3 days, I'm exhausted.

Our team did brilliantly - both men & women won against much tougher competition.
Way to step it up y'all!

I can't be unhappy with this meet. It was a blast. A small part of me wanted to swim breakthrough times in everything and just ROCK my events, but I'm seeing now what it takes to perform at the next level.
On the other hand, I did maintain sub-50sec 100frees for most everything AND dropped 2sec in my 200free & 200IM. Saturday was also the first time I've ever gone sub-40sec in the breaststroke leg of the IM.
It's coming together. We've been training a lot and I really felt good swimming this meet. I've swam close to 2500yds at race pace and I don't feel sore or the least bit hurt (even my broken toe was quiet!).

No spectacular times, but a meet for the books in my opinion!

Nationals is 1 month away, so it's back to work for me...
