playing auntie
I have my nephew visiting for a few days. We reviewed options for activities and he discounted an expensive one in favour of something cheaper, pretty much based on the price. He grew up with a single mom, and support payments were often rare.
But we have planned a full couple of days that will include a post 5pm Ex visit (just $5 admission after 5pm), a trip to the Science Centre including an IMAX film, book shopping (he loves to read; I gave him Tom Sawyer today), guitar playing/lessons (he's going to teach me and my boy is going to teach him), and dinner out somewhere/s.
It's rare to have him here by himself without his sister or his mom so I am looking forward to it.
