my students' fundraising skills rock
If they learned nothing else this term they know that a small group of people can raise a lot of money (and how many coins go in each roll when counting change!). The total is over $6200. This is the email I sent my students today.

The amounts of money raised by the three classes was truly outstanding. As I said a couple of weeks ago, I am very impressed by all of your work.
The totals are (the amount in brackets is the number of students per class):
Thurs - $1826.41 (40) = $45.66 per student
Mon - $2174.20 (47) = $46.26 per student
Tues - $2223.19 (45) = $49.40 per student
The three organizations - Women's Habitat, Horizons for Youth and Sojourn House - are all very appreciative of your efforts as well.
