"Excuse me, gentlemen. Perhaps I can be of assistance"

Y'know, I really oughta start outlining my posts in here. Otherwise I forget what I was going to say. There are two things I left out of my last missive. And I remembered them almost as soon as I went downstairs for lunch.

Item 1: An odd occurrence. My church bought a trailer to sell to raise money for the church. Seeing that I had a 1000 bucks kicking around, I put it into the trailer with the understanding that I'd get it when the trailer sold.

Two weeks ago, we got a buyer. Cool, cool, I thought. I hadn't made a donation in a while, so I decided to ask my pastor to make the check that went back to me out for only 800 bucks and consider the 200 as a donation. He shook my hand and whatnot.

The buyer backed out. Almost instantly, another buyer called and they sold the trailer for 200 bucks more than they had got from the first buyer. My thoughts were immediately along the lines of, "Did God just play a little game of match-your-donation with me?" Who knows. Certainly not I.

Item 2: I think I would like to take up a martial art after I've bulked up a little and lost some weight. Perhaps at the end of the summer when school starts. Trouble is, I have no idea what MA would suit me. Help from the audience?

My ideas on my predispositions from an analyzation of Randag's essays on the four types of Martial Artists. My personality/values would definitely fit best along the lines of Crane, I believe. However, I think my body type would be better as a Tiger. To throw a further wrench to the monkey, I'd say that my thought process could be best described as Panther. I haven't figured out how to work Snake in yet, though. *grins*

So, presuming I could find a sensei, what are the reccomendations?

biographical, faith, church
