Will Graham
* How I feel about this character = In S1, I was fascinated by Will's almost supernatural empathy abilities but it bothered me that Will wasn't a proactive character, but a character who was dragged around and victimized by others. I'm digging the scrappy self-possessed S2 Will so much more.
* All the people I ship romantically with this character = I don't like Will/Alana. I could've got behind Will/Bev but alas it wasn't to be. My crack ship would be Will/Freddie. Honestly I feel the most emotional over Will/his dogs.
* My non-romantic OTP for this character = Will/Hannibal is the OTP of the show and I don't think you can really appreciate the show if you aren't invested in this relationship. I was also loving the Will/Chilton scenes in the last episode. If Chilton isn't dead, I hope they continue.
* My unpopular opinion about this character = I guess that I don't find Will attractive? Hugh Dancy, yes. He's a total cutie. But as Will he's this peculiar little man in grandpa clothes who stares too much and doesn't smile enough. To me, it's kinda unsurprising that Will doesn't have a girlfriend.
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. = I'll admit, I was a little disappointed that Will didn't get himself out of jail and was only freed by Hannibal exposing the frame job. I had been hoping Will would prove his own innocence somehow. But I guess Will's main mission is still to prove Hannibal's guilt.
* Something about them I consider true, even though it's only my head canon/fanon = Is it canon that Will has some form of autism? I have a vague memory of this but I don't know if it was confirmed. Either way I've always felt that Dancy is putting autistic touches into his characterization of Will.

Jack asked Will in their first scene together if Will is on the spectrum. Will says he's closer to autism/aspergers than to a psychopath. And Hugh Dancy definitely plays him like he's on the autism spectrum ( the no eye contact thing, uncomfortable interacting with other people). However, it's more a defence mechanism for Will than truly being on the spectrum. It's his way of dealing with this 'empathy disorder' - distancing himself from human contact. Noticed that in season 2, Will has less trouble making eye contact? I think he's growing more confident.
