i'm so happy that Rammadan is officially over cuz that means Saad's Halal is open again. they have the best falafel in this city in which i live. the sammich is like as big as a human head, and only costs $3.50. you can also get feta, hummos, baba ghonoush, tabbouli or any of several additions for like .25 cents more.
anyone hear of that new corporate chain, Maoz. it started in Europe, they have several stores in the Netherlands and France and such, but it was only just brought over to the United States this past summer. their falafel is pretty good, but a little too much parsley for my liking.
