one time i asked if the squeaking when i close my display would ever go away and they were like UGGGHH JUST GOOGLE SEARCH IT DUMBASS IVE BEEN USING MACS SINCE 1989.
YES absolutely get it... if ANYTHING ever breaks its usually covered... not physically breaks but if the battery wears out, the powercord wears out, the LCD just stops working, its covered.
so no you dropping it is not covered, but it is still worth getting... the flat cost of fixing anything is mad expensive. also, if you do drop it and the LCD breaks but there is no obvious exterior damage ( like a huge dent or something like that ) and you tell them "i dont know i just took it out of my computer bag and it was like this, never dropped it" they probably won't know ( i have done this )
but what about the fact i am getting it so late? i mean what i keep thinking of is someone buying an ipod, it being fucked up, and buying applecare for 50 dollars and getting help to fix it instead of paying more to get it fixed without it. is apple okay with that? ps thks 4 teh tipz
i have no idea what you just said. i bought apple care about a week before my warranty was up and it was cool. get the one for students and it'll be cheaper too
I'm sure you're already buying it, or not buying it - but when I read the small print info on it, it said new batteries were NOT covered. Jasper told me I should get it IF batteries were covered because they cost like $300 anyway, but not to if they didn't.
I might of read it wrong but I don't know. If it is worth it, I should get it too.
Also the Ipod applecare thing, I just bought it to save on service for my ipod and as far as I can tell that worked fine.
