ps. being left handed is stupid
Um hmm so I don't remember the exact wording, but I took it to understand that I wasn't allowed to "post" a livejournal entry about last night. I am pretty sure, though, that I've found a loophole in that I didn't post anything-- I am merely editing this entry to correct the facts.
I was having a no good pretty bad somewhat awful day yesterday; my keys were somehow misplaced and in someone else's possession, I was unable to secure another means to get to Montpelier to finish up the paperwork to get my car legal to resell, or to show up for the last day of chuck wagon tryouts. I had taken this rather bitterly, you see, and fully intended to waste the rest of the day/weekend in an alcoholic stupor, flaking on my movie date and finishing off as much of my bar liquor as humanly possible in an effort to reduce my luggage for my moves to bigger and better places.
Thanks to the persistence of an unnamed personage, my best-laid plans were foiled, and with the arrival of Monkey on my doorstep in his trademark bandana, my night steadily improved: emails from Daron confirming that I was still invited to Syracuse this weekend despite my nonattendance, a few delicious vanilla soymilk white russians, some humble, radiant pig, and oh, I guess I Charlotte's Web was pretty good, too ;)
The downside to having a snuggly houseguest is, of course, the fact that you can never get anything done unless you've had a couple extra naps, so I've got a bit to do before I head to Syracuse hopefully with Bob Digital tomorrow night, maybe even doing some camping before the first game versus New Noise. The Chuck Wagon crew looks a little light, but despite that, I am still not anywhere near the worst player going, for which I'm thankful. Really looking forward to running the new offense I was able to try out at the last practice.
That and maybe sharing a sleeping bag on the way there, I GUESS.
