I can't believe I forgot to mention this as it's the most odd and hilarious thing that's happened to me recently, but SVETA called me at some point last week.
Actual transcript from Martina's message on my voicemail after I called to complain:
"I'm sorry about the Sveta thing, I didn't know it would be a problem[...]and she called my cell phone like four times at one o'clock in the morning and then sent me two text messages asking for it[...]now that I look back at it that was probably a reason NOT to give her your number..."
Oddly enough, she sounded so animate- happy even- when we talked (I saw two missed calls from an unrecognized area code during a lunch break and having nothing better to do, I returned them). I guess I shouldn't be surprised, growing up does that to a girl. Just glad she hasn't lost the stalker touch: you gotta stay true to your roots!
