I'm so tired. I may make considerably more than this states minimum wage, but I'm still managing to live check to check. In fact, the check I will be receiving tonight is already spent on rent and the desperate attempt to keep my electricity from being shut off... And as such, I've agreed to become a roomate again. Now the preperation of my apartment for moving out-itude must begin...
Which brings me to the career of Morgan Spurlock. I never got around to seeing Supersize Me, but I'm watching his show on FX, 30 Days, and it's really putting my financial hardships into some sort of perspective... What kind, I've yet to discern... But I'm watching him live 30 days on minimum wage and really... It's like watching my last 30 days... And my next 30 days... And the 30 x 30 x 30 days after that.
And the sick and twisted part? I'd still love to work at Wal-Mart for as long as is possible.
Is this what my parents went through?
