+the state of independent music. no really, why are there so many fucking "hardcore" bands around? if i never see a bunch of androgenous pasty kids with black bandanas screaming incoherently over incomprehensible guitar noise again... the same goes for anything on saddle creek records. there are emotions other than "melancholy"... jesus.
+uninspired hip-hop recording artist names. bring back the "MC"s!
+the overabundance of celebrity touting checkstand tabloid magazines. everytime i see someone buy one i die a little inside
