Title: Something Funny

Pairing/characters: GTOP, Daesung, Dongwook, select members of SuJu
Warnings: Business world-ish, humor, inappropriate Seunghyun.
Summary: Seunghyun was a prodigy when it came to creating a business from nothing and rising to the ranks, but when Jiyong enters his life, he doesn't know what's right or left. Not that he really cares anymore.

“You're kidding, right?”
Seunghyun glared at the man on the other side of the web chat and shook his head. “I'm meeting up with him tomorrow.”
“But he's the Kwon Jiyong! This is everyone's dream! But yours! Why do you get to be the lucky one? Why couldn't it have been me? Or Dongwook? We both tried so hard for this! And you waltz in here, sweep him up, and leave!”
Seunghyun sighed and shook his head for the millionth time that night. He was talking to Daesung, a friend he had made when he had first stepped into the business world. He and Dongwook had helped him start his business and get it where it was now. And right now he was seeking advice. Again.
“What was I supposed to do? If anything, he swept me up!”
Daesung rolled his eyes and let out a chuckle. “Well, I think you should take him up on this offer and trust him. One of the biggest names in the States and nearly everywhere else. Take it. Use it. And don't ever try to screw him over. Ever.”
“Experience?” Seunghyun asked.
“No, example. Some guy back in the day thought that he would try to use Jiyong, double cross him. The same guy ended up dead in a ditch a week later. Jiyong doesn't do things in halves. There's risk, but if you stay out of trouble, you should be good.”
Seunghyun smiled. This is exactly what he wanted from Daesung. This sort of advice was just what he needed.
“Thanks, hyung. You've been a real big help.”
“Now, go to sleep so that you're on time for your meeting tomorrow, yeah?”
“Yeah, thanks again.”
Seunghyun exited out of the chat and closed his computer. Sitting back in his chair, Seunghyun let the giddiness overcome him as he thought about Kwon Jiyong and the meeting tomorrow. He would try to make things go smoothly. As smoothly as possible. And it would be wonderful.
Or not. But he didn't want to think about that.

“Kwon Jiyong!”
“Ah, Choi Seunghyun-shi.”
“Please, if we're going to be partners, we might want to at least drop the honorifics.”
“Then call me Jiyong.”
“And you must call me Seunghyun.”
Seunghyun cheered on the inside. Progress! He had gotten further than he had expected he would. Why couldn't everything be this simple and easy?
“Now that the names are cleared, should we continue onto why I'm here.”
“Very to the point,” Seunghyun commented with a small smile. “Then let's.”
Seunghyun sat through the meeting with a smile on his face the entire time. There was nothing about Jiyong that was unappealing. Everything was just... perfect.
Which was a little odd, because Seunghyun knew the man should have some weakness, but he didn't. Nothing that Seunghyun could see now, at least.
“Would you object to moving to America for a few months?” Jiyong asked. “All accommodations could be met, if you're worried.”
“I wouldn't mind,” Seunghyun replied honestly. “I would really like to get out off Korea and see the world. I haven't, you know. This would be an opportune chance to do just that.”
Jiyong nodded his head and gave a half smile to the other. “Then we'll move you over there for a while and you can get to know the area. I know that your company specializes in children's toys, which will be a big hit in America and Europe. We just have to start manufacturing and advertising. After that, it's all up to you on what you want to do. I'll help you, of course, and take a fee. But in return, when we come back to Korea in a few months, you must help me get my clothing line started in America. Of course, the same with fees will apply here and we'll be even. Understood?”
That was the most Jiyong had spoken to him, but sadly it was all work related. Seunghyun wanted more. He wanted Jiyong to speak to him as a friend, if nothing else.
“Of course.”
But he had to start somewhere. If this was where he needed to start, he was fine with that. It was somewhere, and that was more than he had ever expected.
“Now, when would you like to move over?”
After the details were discussed, Jiyong left Seunghyun to work out how his company would stay afloat while he was gone. Which wasn't much of a worry as he could leave his production group, a team he had jokingly called “Super Junior”, to handle everything.
Pulling out his phone, he frantically made a phone call.
“Dongwook speaking.”
“I'm going to America!”
There was a pause of silence before a sigh sounded. “Seunghyun?” the other man asked.
“Yes! And Jiyong asked me to move to America! He's going to help me set up and promote in America! This will be fantastic!”
“Are you talking about the Kwon Jiyong?” Dongwook asked in a disbelieving voice.
“Yes.”
“And he asked you to go to America?”
“Yes.”
“Damn.”
“Yeah.”
“So you're moving up in the world? Asia was too small for you?”
“He says I'll be able to also move around to Europe to promote!”
“Leaving us behind in the dust.”
“I'll be sure to buy you souvenirs, of course.”
“I expected that.”
Seunghyun paused and let his giddiness die away before asking his next question. “Are you proud of me?”
Dongwook chuckled before replying. “I'm so proud of you, dongsang, so don't worry about me.”
“Thanks!”
Seunghyun gushed more about America and Jiyong before Dongwook reminded him that they were both supposed to be working. Seunghyun grudgingly hung up and returned to his computer, bored and uninterested in working.
Several minutes later he was relieved of his work when there was a knock on the door. Seunghyun looked up with excitement and asked them to enter.
“Boss! Are you really leaving us?”
Three people burst in and Seunghyun let himself smile. “Donghae, why are you wearing a dress again?”
The man in the middle, Donghae, stopped and blushed as he brought his hands over his dress. “It was a dare,” he whispered, his once loud voice receding.
“And the prize?” Seunghyun asked with a raised eyebrow.
The blush deepened but he didn't say anything more. Siwon, the other man next to him, looked smug as Heechul chuckled.
“I'm going to America for a few days, I thought I told you, Heechul.”
The man shrugged his shoulders and smiled. “Thought you would like the distraction from work.” Seunghyun smiled before Heechul brought something out from behind his back. “And Leetuk wanted me to give you these papers.”
Seunghyun glared at the man before taking the offered papers. Shuffling through them, he silently noted that everything was as it should be.
“Why are you going to America?” Siwon asked.
“Business.”
“Our business?”
Heechul playfully hit Siwon before turning back. “We're expanding to America and Europe. We'll be big!”
Siwon and Dongahe smiled brightly at the idea and Seunghyun shared a few small details with them.
“You know, boss,” Siwon started. “You're talking more about this Jiyong guy than you are the trip to America. Why is that?”
“Is he cute?” Donghae asked.
“Donghae, anything you say is invalid. You're in a dress,” Seunghyun pointed out. “But yes, he's cute.”
“Boss is finally going to get some!” Siwon exclaimed.
“I'm not completely without...” Seunghyun trailed off as he made gestures. “You know!”
“Of course not, boss,” Donghae muttered. “Just nobody worth mentioning to us?”
Seunghyun sighed as he nodded. “Something like that.”
“Boss, you got to trust us,” Heechul egged with a grin.
“Hard when you post pictures of me on the internet.”
“You've got a fanclub! How can we not?”
Sunghyun sighed for the second time that day and ushered everyone out of his office. A smile lit his face, though, as he went back to work.
Jiyong was perfect, if only he could get him.
