Chapter 1| “Are you Minho's guardian?”
Seunghyun didn't like this teacher, but he couldn't say much because he had never liked teachers. “Yes,” he replied. “Choi Seunghyun.”
The teacher smiled and nodded his her head. “Well, I was wondering how we was at home. He's so quiet in class that I was worried that he was being bullied or something.”
Seunghyun's eyes widened before he let out a burst of laughter. “He's always been a quiet person. He doesn't do too well with people in general, so it's safe to say that he will act cold towards everyone.”
The teacher nodded and smiled, not very reassured by Seunghyun's words. “Well, he's doing well in all of his classes. At this rate he can get int any university he wants. He is going to a university, isn't he?”
“It's up to him,” Seunghyun said with a shrug. “I'll support him if he does, and if he doesn't, I will still support him.” The teacher eyed Seunghyun and slowly nodded.
“Alright, well, the other parents are in the hall. You could go chat with them or you could go to the classroom to watch the lesson.” It was obvious with the way the woman was looking at him that she was skeptical.
“I'll do one or the other,” he replied before he left the teachers' office. He made his way to stand in front of Minho's classroom and leaned against the opposite window.
“And who are you here for?” a voice asked. Seunghyun turned to see a mother walk up and look into the classroom.
“Choi Minho,” he replied stately. If it was one thing he and his brother shared, it was their coldness to other people.
“Mine is Lee Taemin. Such a good student, I heard. He's competing for the highest marks in his grade with one other student. Right now he is top, though.” Seunghyun didn't like people who talked about their children in such ways, as if their education was all that mattered in life.
“You must be proud,” he replied. He had to withhold the sarcasm he would have laced with his words to stave from making her angry.
“I am,” she replied with a big smile. “He's the perfect child! He'll graduate here at the top and go to the best university. Then he'll meet some beautiful girl and marry her to bring me many kids.”
Seunghyun rolled his eyes and shook his head. “I just hope that Minho finds what he wants to do the most. I would like it if he were to be happy.”
The woman looked to the side at Seunghyun and shook her own head. “And if he disappoints you?” she asked.
“How?” he asked. “By not being happy?”
“What if he's gay?” she whispered. It sounded like it was the worst thing to happen to someone, the way she said it.
“Then we'll just have another thing in common,” he replied with a grin.

“Hyung?” Minho asked once the class was released for lunch. “What did you say to Taemin's mom?”
“We talked about the future,” he replied with a wide grin. His mood could not be brought down by the thought of anything due to earlier's actions and a boy named Jiyong.
Minho eyed him before nodding slowly. “Well, I want you to meet him. He's my friend.” That last statement threw Seunghyun for a moment as he thought about it. A friend? Minho saying that someone was his friend was a big deal and he really wanted to meet this Taemin.
“Alright,” he replied. “Let's see him.” Minho nodded and walked over to Taemin and his mother, Seunghyun following behind.
“Taemin,” he called out as they approached the boy and his mother.
“Minho!” the boy replied brightly. His face was lit with a bright smile and Seunghyun felt himself smile just at the intenseness of it. “This is my mom. Mom, this is Minho and his brother.”
“Brother?” Taemin's mother asked.
“Legal guardian,” Seunghyun replied with a wave of his hand. “We've met.”
“Yes,” the woman replied skeptically.
“Minho has the second highest scores in the class, only second to me!” Taemin explained. “We study together most times to get those scores.” Taemin's mother's face showed shock at the thought of her son staying with Seunghyun's brother.
“Keep up the good work,” Seunghyun replied to Taemin. “I'm Seunghyun, by the way.” Taemin bowed to him and smiled again.
“I'm glad I finally got to meet you,” Taemin replied. “Whenever Minho talks, it's always about you or school work, so it's pretty exciting to meet you!”
“I wish Minho would talk when he's at home with me,” Seunghyun replied with a sigh. Taemin laughed and Seunghyun smiled.
“Class is out early today,” Minho told Seunghyun. “But I'm thinking of going home with Taemin, do you mind?”
Seunghyun looked at the bright and happy boy and smiled. “I guess,” he replied with a shrug. “I won't see you until tomorrow, then,” he told the boy. “Eat healthy for dinner and make sure to go to sleep at a good time,” he commanded. “Got that?”
Minho nodded once and smiled. “Thanks, hyung,” he told him with a brief hug. He handed over the helmet. “Take this back?” Seunghyun nodded his head and took the helmet.
“Might as well,” he replied. “I'll see you tomorrow, Minho.”

Seunghyun stretched in his small little space behind the bar and smiled. Tonight seemed to be going well. His second job was at a nice restaurant in downtown Seoul where he worked as the head waiter. He felt prim and proper in his outfit and it made him feel a little better about this job.
“Sir, someone's asking for you by name at table three on the east wall.” Seunghyun looked over to the man who had called out and nodded. It was one of his newer recruits that he had began training last week.
“I'll be right there,” he replied as he straightened himself out.
The man nodded and left the bar as Seunghyun made his way over to the table that he called to. “Can I help you?” he asked with a bow. His eyes glanced from the man that was facing him to the man that had his back to him.
“Yes,” the man who had his back turned, and all Seunghyun could think about was how sexy that voice sounded. He gasped when he saw the face and he blanched.
“J-Jiyong!” he gasped out when he could finally talk.
“Seunghyun,” Jiyong acknowledged with a wide grin. He leaned on one hand while the other held a wine glass. “I'm so glad to see you again!”
“We were curious as to why our food hasn't been served yet,” the other man asked. Seunghyun's eyes widened and he spluttered.
“Wh-what did you order? I can get it out immediately!” The man rolled his eyes and shook his head. “I ordered a steak and this kid ordered some poncy french dish.”
Jiyong grinned up at Seunghyun. “The chicken Alfredo,” he whispered. “But my friend doesn't know what it is. I'm going to make him try some.”
Seunghyun nodded and bowed. “I'll be right out with it!” He turned to leave, but Jiyong's hand caught him on the sleeve. Seunghyun turned around to look at the boy but froze when he saw his smile.
“What time do you get off of work?” he asked slyly. Seunghyun blushed before stuttering out his answer. “Good,” Jiyong replied. “I'll see you then. Come by the apartment.”
Seunghyun nodded and walked away crimson red.

“What was that all about?” Youngbae asked Jiyong. He eyed him with a knowing look and frowned.
“What are you talking about?” Jiyong asked, feigning innocence and failing horribly.
Youngbae rolled his eyes and reached for his wine glass. “Let me guess, you picked this one up at the park too?”
Jiyong rolled his eyes and clucked his tongue. “The arcade,” he replied. “I have raised my standards! I will no longer prey on smaller children!”
“How much younger is he than you?”
“He's eighteen,” Jiyong replied with a huff.
“So this one's legal? And only four years younger than you?”
Jiyong grinned and nodded, taking another sip of his wine. “For all he knows, I could be eighteen.”
Youngbae shook his head and sighed. “You need to stop breaking the hearts of innocent men.”
Jiyong shook his head and smiled. “This one I'll keep, so this one will be the only one I'll play with. I won't break him. I can't have broken toys.”
“Food's here,” Youngbae said as he ignored Jiyong's explanation. Jiyong looked up at Seunghyun and smiled flirtatiously.
“You look sexy in a suit,” he stated. “I could get used to that.” He could hear Youngbae give another sigh at his antics, but Jiyong ignored him. He, instead, watched Seunghyun blush and admired it.
“I hope you do not look down upon us, thought our services were poor today,” Seunghyun muttered just loud enough for both Jiyong and Youngbae to hear.
“We would never stop coming,” Youngbae replied with a reassuring smiled.
“Not when I've seen you here looking like you do,” Jiyong added with a smirk. Seunghyun's face darkened a few shades of red and Jiyong began to eat his pasta. “I'll see you after you get off of work tonight,” he told the boy and waved as he walked away.
“You sure you're going to keep him?” Youngbae asked. “I don't want to have to comfort another one of your failed attempts to 'find love'. If you're going to stay with him, be honest with him. Honesty is what builds a relationship. Tell him how old you really are.” Jiyong brushed him off as he held out a forkful of Alfredo pasta.
“Try some of this, it's delicious!”

Previously - The kitchen
“Where is their order?” Seunghyun growled out loudly enough for the cooks to hear.
“Which table?” one cook asked as he prepared another dish.
“East six,” he replied as he looked for the steak and Alfredo platters.
“Sir! They're not finished!” One of the assistant cooks came up and motioned for Seunghyun to follow him.
“Kibum,” Seunghyun greeted. “What do you mean they aren't finished?”
Kim Kibum smiled nervously and chuckled similarly. “Well, the steak is supposed to be well done, so it takes longer!”
Seunghyun rolled his eyes and looked at the steak in the pan. “Hurry,” he said simply. “And the Alfredo?”
Kibum pointed over to where the dish waited in the over. “It's waiting on the steak.” Seunghyun nodded as he watched the boy finish his cooing. Kibum, like him, was an orphan. But Kibum, unlike him, was his brother's age. Still in school and actually in the same class as Minho. Meeting Kibum here had been surprising, to say the least. But not unwanted.
“Hurry, hurry,” Seunghyun muttered as he took the Alfred dish and had Kibum follow him with the steak. When they neared the table, he took the steak from Kibum and told him to wait.
Jiyong's first words to him on his return were “You look sexy in a suit. I could get used to that.” The phrase had Seunghyun blushing so badly that he spluttered on the apology for the food.
Once he had finished with the table, he walked back towards Kibum, face still red.
“Who were they?” Kibum asked. “That one guy made you blush! I've never seen you blush!”
Seunghyun glared at the younger boy and made a move to hit him but stopped midway. “His name is Jiyong. I don't know about the other one. I really hope he's not his boyfriend. But they just looked like good friends.”
“You want Jiyong?” Kibum asked. They entered the kitchen and Kibum pulled out his phone.
“What are you doing?” Seunghyun asked cautiously.
“Nothing!” Kibum replied with a wide grin. He sent a message and closed his phone.
“Kibum,” Seunghyun whispered threateningly.
“I'm off to work!” Kibum announced as he fled.

Seunghyun looked up at the apartment building as he neared it. It was already thirty minutes after he had gotten off of work. He had gotten on his bike and got here as fast as he could. His heart was pounding as he pulled his helmet off and walked to the entrance. He vaguely remembered which floor it was, but nothing more. He walked over to the elevator and pressed the up button. Moments later, the elevator opened to a smiling Jiyong.
“You're here!” Jiyong called out as he pulled Seunghyun into the elevator. He pressed the “six” button when he was in and quickly gave Seunghyun a peck on his lips. “How long can you stay?” he asked the other.
“Tomorrow's Saturday, so I don't have work at my first job. I've got until tomorrow, five,” Seunghyun replied, not sure if he wanted to leave Jiyong.
“Mm,” Jiyong hummed as he held Seunghyun's hand in his. “Which job do you like better? Your day job or your night job?”
Seunghyun was taken by surprise and he stuttered for an answer. “Uh, I'd have to say my night job. Working at the restaurant is definitely more fun than working as an assistant. And I get paid more.”
Jiyong nodded his head slowly and held on tightly instead of speaking.
“Why do you ask?” Jiyong shrugged his shoulders and hummed again. He used his hold on Seunghyun's hand and pulled the taller man down for a kiss on the cheek. “Did you wait in the elevator this whole time?” Seunghyun had to ask.
Jiyong laughed and nodded his head. “I hate to admit it, but riding the elevator is fun.” Seunghyun smiled and allowed himself a moment to think.
“Tell me,” he began, but the opening of the elevator door stopped him from continuing.
“Go on,” Jiyong said as he stood his ground on the elevator. “Ask away.”
“What are we?” Seunghyun asked. “Are we just fuck buddies or are we-?”
“We're more,” Jiyong interrupted. “I'm not sure what we are, but I know we're more.”
Seunghyun let himself smile, but was stopped when he thought of Minho. Could he take care of Minho, have two jobs, and have a boyfriend all at the same time? It seemed like a lot, but he knew it was what he wanted. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed Jiyong's hand and held it up to his lips.
“Will you be my boyfriend?” he asked. Jiyong smiled and nodded.
“Under one condition,” Jiyong replied.
“And what's that?”
“You forgive me for lying to you about my age.”
Seunghyun's eyes widened and he frowned. Was this boy really just that? A boy? Was he underage and was this illegal?
“How old are you?” Seunghyun asked slowly. Nervously.
“Twenty-two,” Jiyong whispered, a near wince in his posture. Seunghyun looked at him oddly before laughing.
“You can't be serious, can you?” he asked. Jiyong rolled his eyes and pulled his wallet out from his back pocket.
“See?” he asked as he showed the license to the taller man. “Twenty-two.” Seunghyun grinned and hugged him tightly.
“I forgive you.”
><><><><
“Ji,” Seunghyun whispered hotly into Jiyong's hair as the other bit his neck.
“Can't get enough of you,” Jiyong whispered, sitting up on the bed. He pulled his shirt off and returned back to Seunghyun's neck. “But I could do with more of you.”
Seunghyun struggled to get his shirt off as Jiyong kept attacking his neck. “Ji, I need to take my clothes off.”
“Mm, naked Seunghyun,” Jiyong muttered as he imagined it. “Hurry.” He pulled back enough to allow Seunghyun to take his shirt off, but only just. Once the shirt was off, he was on Seunghyun's chest immediately.
While his mouth moved to suck and bite at Seunghyun's chest, his hands found purchase on the other's pants, slowly, but surely, taking them off.
“Not today,” Seunghyun growled out as he flipped their positions. He straddled Jiyong's waist with his hips and leaned down to give the other a peck on the lips. “I should punish you for lying to me,” he whispered seductively into Jiyong's ear. “Would that be fair?”
“Y-yes,” Jiyong stuttered out in passion. Seunghyun grinned and pulled back.
“All right,” he said as he got up and put his shirt on and buttoned his pants.
“Wh-what?” Jiyong asked, completely surprised.
“Punishment,” he said as he gestured to their situation. “Nothing tonight. But I promise,” he said as he leaned in for a kiss on the cheek. “There'll be more tomorrow.” He stood up and made his way to the door, only to turn back for a moment. “Call me!”
