“He's trained. Probably to kill. But remember that he can do everything you can and more. He is the Dragon.”
“That sounds impossible.” Seunghyun sat down in front of the desk and faced off with the director. English was not a language that came easily to him, but he could manage a little. “How can little Jiyong be the Dragon? We haven't even known there was a Dragon until recently! What if it's just a spiff and we're being tricked? We need to go after Se7en!”
“Believe it, Seunghyun. The Dragon will lead us to Se7en. We will be able to anything if we take down Se7en, and this is a vital step in that plan. How do you think Kwon Jiyong's file got that way? How did he know about everything? How did he catch the criminals before the hints even came in? He's in deep. Now, I need you to know one thing. His weakness.” The man behind the desk shuffled some papers before putting one on the top of a pile. He read off of that one before looking up again.
Seunghyun was curious. The boy that he had met looked to have many, but he knew that people like that were near impossible to break down. And given the name 'The Dragon', it made it sound like there was no weakness. “He has one?”
“And you can exploit it because you fall into the category.”
He stared skeptically at his director before nodding his head. “And what's that? I've seen him prowl. He looks like he has a lust fault. But I can't see that causing any real damage.”
“It's love.” The statement was said as if Seunghyun should have known. Like it was the most common thing on the planet to know. As if he had already known.
“Love?”
“Emotion. He has too much of it. He just can't sort it out. You've already been in his head. Plant yourself and make yourself permanent.”
“Are we making him permanent?” he asked. “Do we want to keep him?”
The director smiled and nodded. “If we put him through rehab and some simulations, we could use him on the field. With the amount of knowledge he has, we could rule the world and clean it of filth.” Seunghyun cringed internally and frowned.
“Alright.” Seunghyun sighed and braced himself. “So, my orders?”
“Make him follow you to the ends of the earth.”
_-_-_
The sound of kids screaming did not do anything for his headache. Their screams and their shrieking laughters. They all made his head spin and he wasn't sure what was going on anymore.
“Seunghyun?”
He looked up and over a the one who had called him. “Youngbae,” he replied.
“Are you alright?”
Seunghyun nodded his head and brought his hand up to his temple to rub it. “Just a small headache.”
“Do you really think he's here?” Daesung asked from his spot next to Seunghyun in the booth. They all sat at some children pizza party place.
“The information was legit, so he has to be here.”
Seungri scoffed and shook his head. “Legit or not, the pizza is disgusting here.” Seunghyun rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“Keep your eyes open. And remember, he can do complete changes with his hair and face. He could be anyone.” Everyone took Seunghyun's warning with a nod and kept the search going inconspicuously.
Seunghyun's orders had sounded hard when he had first heard them, but thinking over them now, he wanted to cry. How could anyone make Jiyong fall for them? Especially now that he knew Jiyong was more than he let on. At first he had simply thought Jiyong was a crooked cop, but now that the name Se7en had been thrown in, he didn't know what to think. His headache now wasn't due to the screaming children or Seungri's complaining. It was namely Jiyong's fault. Sexy beast and all.
The last few words of his thought-rant shook him and he growled. There was no way he would let Jiyong get to him. Even if it was his job to make Jiyong think that way.
“Can I take you order?”
Seunghyun looked up at the waitress and forced a tight smile. “Just a pitcher of water, please.” And Jiyong, he added mentally.
“Nothing else?” she asked. She pouted when he shook his head. “Alright. I'll be right out with your water!”
As she bounced off, Seungri let out another snort. “She your style, boss?” he asked with a point to her back. Her long hair came mid-back and was a light brown color. It was obviously fake, probably for the job. It bounced with her step and made her seem happier than credited for. She wasn't the one who had sat them. Thinking about it now, what was his style? Jiyong?
Seunghyun rolled his eyes before freezing. That was her. She was him!
“Shit!” he called out as he jumped up and ran after her. The three others watched before following moments later.
Seunghyun was out of breath by the time he had caught up with her in the kitchen. He could only see the trails of her hair as she moved to a different room. It looked like she was running further into the building. Not as if she was running away, but as if she was leading him into a trap.
Refer to her as HIM! That is Jiyong! Kwon Jiyong! Your target!
“Split up,” he ordered as he followed where he saw Jiyong go.
Seunghyun ignored his head as he continued to follow the girl. Guy. Jiyong. He pushed the thoughts out and focused on the task. Soon, he found himself in an empty private party room. He had sworn he had seen Jiyong come through here, but he couldn't see anyone. And the room was bare of decorations of any kind.
Slowly he walked in, his hand going for his gun just as slowly.
“So, CIA?”
The gun was in his hands faster than he had thought possible and he found himself turned towards the door where Jiyong stood, still in his waitress attire and makeup.
“That look doesn't suit you.” The words were out of Seunghyun's mouth before he could think about it. It seemed everything he did was on autopilot.
“You're a bigger fish than I had first imagined,” Jiyong declared with a grin. “But I won you.”
Seunghyun raised an eyebrow, gun still trained on the other. “What are you talking about?”
“You're taken by me!” Jiyong announced, hands gesturing to himself. “And I'll have it no other way!”
“You're crazy,” Seunghyun stated, but he was only met with a harsh laugh.
“I just broke out of an asylum,” he pointed out. “I would hope that it indicated how crazy I am.”
Seunghyun mentally agreed, not showing any signs of movement outwardly. “So, what now?”
Jiyong grinned and moved into the room. When the gun stayed on him, he sighed. With a raise of his arms, he spoke. “I'm unarmed. No gun, no knives, no nothing.” Seunghyun was wary, but his gun slowly dropped and he relaxed. “Now,” Jiyong continued, walking over to one of the tables and sitting on top with his legs crossed. “Tell me about you life with the CIA.”
_-_-_
Seunghyun felt like his life was ending. What had the world come to? Was it raining elephants somewhere? Did Hell freeze over? Was it the apocalypse?
Somehow, he thought that maybe all of that happened and he wasn't informed. He had just got off of the phone with his director and there really was no way to explain how he felt.
Mortified? Curious? Angry? All this time he had spent chasing after Se7en and this 'Dragon' and all he had to pay for it was the boy sitting in his car.
Jiyong's makeup had washed off easily and the wig had disappeared. He had found some normal clothes and now sat in the passenger seat like nothing was wrong. He wore a smile that made Seunghyun feel a little better, though. That smile had something about it that made Seunghyun just want to eat an ice cream or a lollipop. Or something.
“How did you get out of the hospital?”
“Vents.”
Seunghyun turned to Jiyong and stared. The answer made him feel stupid. “Sounds like something in a movie,” he muttered darkly before turning his eyes to the road.
“That's where I got the idea,” Jiyong confessed with a shrug. “So, where are we going?”
Seunghyun stayed silent for a moment as he thought of an answer. “I haven't decided yet. I'm just supposed to watch you until further notice.”
“Then can we go back to my apartment?”
“We can't,” Seunghyun replied. “We need to keep you away from anywhere Se7en can get to you. You're liable to contact him again and betray us.”
“But why would I betray you?” Jiyong asked. His voice was of genuine confusion and Seunghyun had to squeeze his eyes shut to keep from hitting the other. “You're mine, didn't I tell you? If I left you, you would be nothing! And I don't want you to be nothing! It's in my benefit to keep you! So I won't betray you! I told you that I loved you!”
The logic was ridiculous. It made it sound like Seunghyun was a dog or a pet of some sort. An object. But some part of Seunghyun warmed at the words. He didn't know what part, but there was definitely some warmth. Warmth that disappeared when Jiyong reminded him of the confession.
“We'll go back to my place,” Seunghyun finally decided.
“But what will I wear? No! Wait! I'll wear your stuff! Or nothing at all!”
The image of Jiyong walking around his house naked brought on many thoughts that Seunghyun didn't wish to think. Especially of a bed or a shower.
Shaking his head, Seunghyun refocused on the road. He shouldn't be thinking of those things about the boy. He really needed to think of what he would do for dinner.
“So, are Seungri and the rest in the CIA too?”
The question was so sudden and normal that it made Seunghyun splutter in his answer. “Yeah, they're apart of my team. We're the Eastern Asian team. The E.A team.”
“Oh. And your boss wants me to be a part of it? How cute! I'll be an official member of the E.A team! Do I get a t-shirt?”
Seunghyun glared at the road but kept his mouth shut. He didn't want his anger to control him. He had gone through special training to make sure that he couldn't be angered easily. Jiyong was not helping. And neither was the thought of Jiyong naked in just a t-shirt.
“We're here,” Seunghyun grunted out when he pulled up to an apartment complex. He parked in the underground garage and got out hastily. Jiyong followed him to the elevator and stood next to him as they waited for the elevator to arrive.
“You know what I've always wanted to try?” Jiyong asked as the elevator door opened.
“What?” Seunghyun asked, not meaning to reply.
“Elevator sex.”
The moment the words were out of Jiyong's mouth, Seunghyun found himself pressed against the inside of the elevator with another body pressed along his entire front.
“What the Hell are you doing?” Seunghyun choked out. Jiyong moved up to place his lips just before Seunghyun's as he spoke.
“Testing something,” he replied before leaning forward for a kiss. It was sweet, Seunghyun remembered. But that was all he remembered. Moments later there was a gasp and Jiyong pulled back to look up at the opened elevator door. An old lady stood with her bag clutched to her chest, eyes wide and staring at Jiyong and Seunghyun.
“Shit,” Seunghyun mumbled, noticing that his hand was possessively wrapped around Jiyong's waist. There was a lapse in memory from when Jiyong had started to kiss him until now, and if his heavy breathing and lightheadedness was to count for, then he had lost a good few minutes.
“And we were just enjoying ourselves,” Jiyong mumbled with a pout and pulled himself away from Seunghyun.
Seunghyun noticed that Jiyong was indeed right. His body had definitely enjoyed what had went on, if the way it reacted to lost contact was anything to go by. And the start of an erection. But he was ignoring that.
“What floor are you on?” Jiyong asked. The old lady continued to stare at them, but Jiyong seemed to ignore her easily enough. Seunghyun looked down at his hand that was still on Jiyong's hip. He thought about moving it, but the thought of movement reminded him of his unwanted problem below.
“Twelfth,” Seunghyun replied after a long pause. Blood that should have been flowing to his head prevented him from remembering his own floor number to his temporary apartment.
Jiyong nodded and pressed the appropriate button. The door closed on the lady and the elevator went up as per usual. There were no stops up, which allowed Seunghyun to think of menu items for dinner. There were still leftovers that Youngbae had made and left that he could eat, but there was only enough for one person.
His thoughts were interrupted by the 'ding' of the elevator door as it opened. “Let's go,” Jiyong announced.
Seunghyun nodded and led the way by guiding Jiyong by the hip. “You know,” Jiyong began once they arrived at the door. “I still never got you to take me back to your place and let you fuck me.”
Seunghyun's hands fumbled with the keys and he nodded. “Is that so?” he asked. His voice sounded calm, but the way he handled his keys showed that he was anything but.
“Will you fuck me?”
Seunghyun's hands froze mid turn of opening the door and he looked at Jiyong. “You're serious?” he asked.
“As a radio,” Jiyong replied with a curt nod.
Seunghyun didn't ask and continued on. “I'm not supposed to be compromising myself with you,” he began.
“I would tell you it's just sex, but it won't be true. Because even after tonight you'll be mine and you'll forever have me.”
And Seunghyun thought it was that phrase that got him. Or maybe it was the way Jiyong was already kissing him. Either way, he forgot to eat dinner that night.
_-_-_
“That's brilliant! I didn't think you would get him that quickly!”
“I didn't either,” Seunghyun replied truthfully into the phone.
“Just keep an eye on him until tomorrow. I'll contact you then with more details. I'm thinking of letting him continue on with life. Let him draw out Se7en.”
“Alright.”
“Will he follow you 'till death?”
Seunghyun hesitated and shook his head. “I'm not sure.”
