So lately I've been browsing through my old written journals, circa 2005 to 2008. A lot of it is... really funny. Surprisingly.

I dunno. I have a tendency to be so critical when I look back on anything I do. And I know it sounds bias and self-glorifying to say how funny I think my writing is, but...... it's the truth, to me. Haha, good memories. I'll probably share some in the future.

I was in Vent (a voice chat program)  earlier tonight, just me and Mark. No one had said anything for a while, and then I broke the silence by mentioning a memory pertaining to him. Instead of responding he just immediately left the server. My assumption, and I'm curious to know if I'm right, is that he was patting the porpoise (a.k.a. spanking the seal) and forgot to mute vent, and then in a frantic, masturbatory attempt to maintain his heterosexuality and not climax to the sound of my voice, closed the application as fast as possible. I dunno. That's my theory.

So, there are a few updates to mention. The first 2 weeks I've been in Orlando have been plagued with failure to land a job. But! Through some crafty, inebriated networking at Wet N' Wild last weekend, I was able to get a girl I met there to get me an interview with AFLAC, and long story short.. They offered me a job. Woot!

I'm actually pretty pumped, more so because now I have something to do. But I can't begin training until I study and pass the insurance license exam which'll take a week or two. I don't really know what to expect about the job. It's completely commission-based, but the average employee makes a comfortable salary.

That's the main thing that's new. Other than that, the same train keeps chugging along. I can't believe I just said such a gay thing.
