Today's Monday. That sucks for some people, but I'm off today and tomorrow (from Beta). Nuuuuut.
Goddamn, what a stressful weekend it was. I was out in Breaux Bridge trying to maintain the peace between landowners and the drillers I oversee. Holy shit. My first real dispute occured. Had an entire family freaking out on me because there were drillers on their property. They called the cops and everything. And when the cop got there, he was on our side. "Look they're just trying to do their jobs." LAWL.
Anyways. My social life is kind of like a hose that's been squeezed. Usually nothing comes out. But for some reason, Saturday night was the night EVERYONE decided to invite me to do something. The funny thing was, I went to bed because I was just too goddamn tired. LAWL.
Not a whole lot to say. I've been busy. Working at the Pat'i today. Fucking pumped. I'm worried about this recession. I'm starting to see signs that Lafayette is not necessarily recession-proof, and it's making me nervous. Sucks for people who just graduated because they JUST entired the job market. And you know what, they'll be the first to leave if the company's gotta start pinching pennies. FUCK.
For the most part, all seems well. I'm fucking fantastic. Most my friends are too. Some aren't. That makes me worry. I wish I had more time so I could start an American tour of friend-visiting. I'd go to Boston, Orlando/Titusville, New Orleans, Bryan. But, I HAVE NO TIMEEEE!
Perhaps I'll be gaming tonight since I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Travis, sorry I've been neglecting one of the key bonds to our friendship: gaming. Don't get too immersed in Shadow Bane.
