Chapter 5: My Vacation In Florida
well havent updated in quite some time. i got back from florida yesterday and it was a lot of fun. i stayed with my friend ellice and her family in west palm beach. the weather was kind of bad for florida, like in the 60s and low 70s but it was nice. on my last full day the weather was really sunny and nice. i got tan! but i also got burnt like on my face i looked like one of those people with red blotches...eww. i finally began filling out my summer application for oxford i'm so excited. the only thing thats kind of scary is that you have your own room. like at camp i was used to sleeping with 12ish girls in my room and like maybe 60something in the entire bunk... hopefully i can like have sleepovers with people. the only dissapointing thing about florida was the fact that we didnt really meet anyone but we realized that was because all the people there werent good enough. we also came to the conclusion that we're ellitists and that's why we have no friends (in florida). well i cant really think of anything else that i want to write here even though a lot has happened. i'll try to update more often but this week i'm going to be really busy with work. oh yeah! on my flight home they had tvs on the back of every seat (no, not jetblue) and they had the food network! that was really good not only because its my favorite channel but also because my ipod ran out of batteries because i listened to it the whole way going there... yeah my ear like started bleeding. not really, but it was killing me. i guess i lied when i said i didnt want to write more. on the way there, i sat next to old people and on the way back i sat next to this little kid who was like screaming but thank god he moved and i had an empty seat next to me. food network and comfort? does it get better? i think not. i got to wear my bikinis which was amazing even though i definitely gained like 50 pounds because i ate nonstop. oh well. i love flying and hotels. i need to travel more but my mom is always like "travel after college, you'll have more fun" which is true but i want to travel now... but i have a vacation planned soon and in the summer i'm travelling to oxford, so thats good. ok, i'm out.
