oh lord, this SCREAMS fake. i lol'd so hard at this:

"I'm not suprised she used the same password on here as she did with everything else, she was too trusting. but lucky for me she did because I'm sure she would want you to know. "

uh, yeah, okay. after she died your first thought was "lemme hack her LJ and spread the word." no. that never fails to be a red flag.

not many people, and even if she did for some reason, why any friend would think the next logical step would be to inform the internet is beyond me. especially LJ. i mean maybe something like facebook (although that would still be ridiculous), but with everyone having so many accounts on so many sites on the internet, WHY specifically LJ? LJ needs to know!!!

it's completely fake. i have yet to see a real death be followed by this kind of friend-on-dead-person's-account gag... especially in a fricking COMMUNITY of all places, not even just their journal. ridiculous.

Most of the people I know in real life don't know about my journal on here, especially my Facebook friends (I have two FB profiles--one for classmates and teachers and family, and one for my online friends), and some of them pooled their money to get me my perm. account. I never even told them what email address I use with this account, just that my username @ livejournal.com will always be an email they can reach me at.

I don't think updating my journal or website would be their first priorities, though. Now my phone's contacts is another story. It's a virtual address book, and they'd assumed that I was at least close enough to those people to carry on phone conversations. 90% of my journal friends I have not heard their voices.

Anyone checking IPs on this? LJToys?

Really young kids. My daughter and her friends used to go on each other's myspaces and redo them (nice, or ugly, depending on the mood). But that's kind of dwindling down. So middle school yes, older, probably less likely.

My bestie has my LJ/Facebook/Email/FTP passwords...but we bought webspace and domain names together 12 years ago, so sharing the FTP/Email password was a given anyway.

He has instructions to delete my LJ and Facebook accounts if I kick off before he does.

My closest friends know the location of my list of passwords. So in the event I kick the bucket, one of them can go retrieve the passwords and DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING before responsible adult types can get to it and see what horrible things I get up to on the internet. >.>

my bff knows my passwords and i know hers. all mine are the same and all hers are the same. i don't think its that odd, but i know that if she died i wouldnt be in the right state of mind to post to random comms she was a member of.

My passwords are all saved on my computer, and I told my husband to post in case anything happens to me that I can't post any more. But we're husband and wife, so maybe the trust factor is better in giving out passwords. I mean, I even gave him the passwords to all my e-mails, game accounts, everything, just in case, even the online banking one. But to each a different mile to walk.

STOP REPOSTING THIS FUCKING COMMENT, JFC, THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I'VE FUCKING SEEN IT. THEY CAN READ IT ON ONE OF YOUR OTHER RESPONSES IF THEY CARE ENOUGH.

Then ignore me when you see me. Personally, I don't go over and over and over a post to see if there are new comments, I just go by what ends up in my inbox, hence the multiple posting. No need to swear and yell, just ignore me, it's the internet not SRZ BZNZ, get over it, geeze

Stop reposting a completely off topic, anecdote filled comment. No one gives that much of a fuck if you left your passwords to your hubby, I promise. Spamming my gd inbox with the SAME comment is obnoxious.

And me getting spam in -my- inbox from you is also obnoxious. I stopped posting, did you not realize that? I tried to let people know that it is possible, it's not an impossibility. I wrote it like two times, geeze, really, get over it. Take a deep breath, step back from the computer and ignore anything I've ever written. You'll have less of a headache.

No, bb, you wrote it more than twice. You spammed my inbox with the same comment, over and over. Here's a hint for the future: DON'T DO THAT.

Saying it ONCE is enough.
