Faked Miscarriage/Hospitalization
Hi. I joined this community because I need some additional assistance in exposing a person as a fraud. Any help from you all is greatly appreciated.
The participants in this drama are herohunter and svmaria, both female. I'll refer to herohunter as HH from here, and svmaria as SVM.
Location-wise, HH claims to reside in Texas, and SVM claims to reside in Chile. They participate in the same circle of tv-show related fan activities (Smallville) and have many of the same people on their respective friend lists. Both of them tend to lead very dramatic lives. Within the past two weeks or so, SVM hosted an event in her journal where the purpose was for people to friend each other. Sort of a meet and greet kind of thing. The car accident and resulting drama happened within a few days of that event.
It all started when HH made a post claiming that SVM was in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Initially, HH stated that SVM suffered a "contusion," broken fingers, several bruises, and a miscarriage. There was the expected outpouring of concern and support.
Supposedly, this information was being given to HH by SVM's husband/boyfriend. It's not quite clear which, as HH stated first that he was SVM's boyfriend, and then in a later post stated he was her husband, and then again in another post claimed boyfriend.
Within the next 24 hours, SVM's "condition" suddenly progressed to a life-threatening status. Emergency surgery was done, and HH claimed that SVM was in a coma. A post was made requesting support and gifts to be sent to HH's address, and it was claimed that said gifts would then be shipped overseas to SVM. Within that same 24 hour period, SVM supposedly woke up from her coma, and would make a full recovery.
As a result of the excessively dramatic posts and the huge holes in the story, svmadelyn voiced her suspicions and asked for the name of the hospital where SVM was staying. In response, HH made another dramatic post claiming that SVM's boyfriend had seen svmadelyn's comment and was angry. SVM's journal was deleted within the next ten minutes. Later that day, HH deleted her own journal, although she has since reactivated it. All of her posts about SVM have been locked. Other journals are also suspected as sockpuppets. They include msjulialurker and radditzuchan.
There is a lot of available information about this mess, so I have compiled a list of relevant posts.

- A little more info… by aelora, where she states that someone called the named hospital and the results of that call.
- Pseuicide in Smallville fandom by semirecluse in the Fandom_Wank community on JournalFen, reviewing the situation. Many of the comments are from amused people, but some contain useful information like IP addresses for SVM.
I have collected IP addresses as well, for HH and one of her suspected sockpuppets.
- radditzuchan's IP(s): 68.183.182.122 and 65.126.202.253, both collected from comments made on 12/04/2006 in my journal.
- herohunter's IP(s): 66.56.200.166, collected from comments made in my journal on 09/28/2005 and 10/04/2005. Both comments had the same IP address.
- svmaria's IP(s): 209.9.199.213 and 209.9.195.130 as stated in comments made on several posts, including the ones made on Fandom_Wank and in svmadelyn's journal. Collection dates and method are unknown, I believe these were collected from comments made by svmaria but I'm not 100% sure on that.
Any help sorting this out and confirming/refuting that these are sockpuppet journals is greatly appreciated. There are still people who believe this story is genuine, as much as that blows my mind.
