Slept badly last night, so slept late. maaseru and Pim came down to a breakfast of eggs and a toasted hot cross bun.
Worked on one of my jobs, most satisfactorily.
Got my hair cut at The Connoisseur, by Vey. She did a beautiful job as always.
Got groceries at the Loblaw's on Rideau at Nelson. Haven't been there for ages; they've redecorated extensively. Couldn't find La Vache Qui Rit cheese, and though they had Sanpellegrino soft drinks (I forgot to check the price) they didn't have Chinotto. They did, however, have delicious chicken, which I bought and roasted with garlic for supper.
Watched Supernatural, episode 7x09, "How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters". Good things about it: Dean was cute stoned on monsterburgers. Not so good things about it: it was gross. I liked the villain, Dick the Leviathan.
Watched Castle, episode 4x15, "Eye of the Beholder" - which was once the title of a very good season one episode of Highlander. Good things about it: I liked Becket a little more than I have lately - she seemed to have a little more personality - and I quite enjoyed the plot, which kept me guessing and guessing again. Not so good things about it: the guest sleuth/thief played by Kristin Lehman was very annoying, and reminded me of the insurance agent in White Collar.
