White Collar 2x12: "What Happens in Burma"

Feb 04, 2011 22:58

Also watched last week's episode of White Collar this evening.

This has to be one of the slashiest things I have seen in years. I wanted to make a list of the double entendres, so blandly delivered.

Not to mention the rather delightful scenes of shirtless Neal, or Neal in his vest. The only flaw with that is that Peter didn't remove his shirt, which he should have. I was silently urging him to. At least we got the rolled up sleeves and the opened collar, and... hmm, it's getting hot in here.

  1. Diana was magnificent, but... no Elizabeth? We aren't getting much of Elizabeth these days. Not much at all. I'd trade Mozzie for Elizabeth any day.
  2. Loved it that Neal called Peter "Mr Satchmo" - and Peter got his revenge.
  3. Hints of Neal's past: an absent criminal father, a bent cop he's obviously ashamed of. Is the father going to turn up?
  4. I love it when Peter barges into Neal's apartment. Loved that whole scene - Mozzie's bland "it's a smoking jacket" cracked me up, and I loved the bland way Peter took it all in and used it for his own purposes. I love it when he sees through Neal, and I love it when he doesn't.
  5. I liked the theme of father/son estrangements. The plot was thin, but the them was strong.
  6. Diana as a model was rather fun.
  7. Enjoyed the scene where Mozzie was working on the gem. But then... got distracted by half-dressed Neal and Peter's shirtsleeves. Mmm.
  8. June. Where's June? June's dog? June's granddaughter?
  9. I liked the second Burmese Ambassador, and the way he made a point of getting on Peter's good side.
