Ah, now, here's something I can get my teeth into: The Thirty Days of Marvel Meme, Marvel fangirl I am and have been ever since I read... No, no, saying it now would be getting ahead of the game, wouldn't it?
Day #1: Your favourite character
- Starting with a hard one, are we?
Currently: Daken Akihiro, son of Wolverine. Currently the lead in Daken Dark Wolverine - and shouldn't the next issue be coming out soon? Formerly in Dark Wolverine, Wolverine Origins, Dark Avengers and various related comics dealing with his relationship with his father and his role in Norman Osborne's Avengers team.
Why do I love him? Because he's clever, amusing, manipulative, bisexual, ambiguous, and did I mention, clever? Because he keeps me guessing. Because he makes me smile.
In the past: Gambit of the X-Men, for many of the same reasons. Gambit is still a favourite, but we aren't seeing enough of him. When he had his own title, it was sadly dull: another character not many people seem to be able to write well. I loved his recent role in X-23, as her friend and protector.
Another name springs to mind, but that can be addressed in later answers.
